SAR Workshop
Live Find & Human Remains
Law Enforcement Workshop
Dual-Purpose, Odor Detection & Apprehension Canines
Training scenarios are designed to challenge K9 teams in realistic environments while remaining adaptable for both beginner and advanced canines.
Training Scenarios
Rope Operations
Handler and K9 teams may be raised from ground level to a six-story elevation and transported via high line to an adjacent building for an immediate search scenario.
Water Operations
Boat operations will take place in a simulated “flooded village” environment featuring rooftop trap-door search access, partially submerged vehicles, and underwater obstacles such as mailboxes and other debris.
Large Human Remains Sources — Handler Option
Large and small HR sources will be utilized to optimize training and acclimation for Law Enforcement and Live Find K9s, as well as provide multiple training scenarios for career Human Remains Detection dogs.
Subterranean Cave Complex
This environment provides an exceptional opportunity for zero- to low-visibility training, if desired. Underground tunnels allow teams to practice maneuvering through tight spaces and navigating a challenging subterranean environment.
Note: Scenarios are adaptable based on handler goals, experience, and input. Training is suitable for both beginner and advanced canines, and scenarios may be adjusted accordingly.
Special Interest for Law Enforcement Teams
Law Enforcement handlers and their K9s may also participate in Human Remains scenarios, including a simulated mass-casualty incident involving a concealed suspect/decoy who must be located and extracted from the search scene.
